COMPANY PROFILE

Established in 1991, Keppel Smit Towage Private Limited (KST) is a joint venture between Keppel Shipyard Ltd and Smit Singapore Pte Ltd.

Our main activity involves the owning, managing and operating of tugs to provide marine support services in the Asia Pacific region.

At the beginning of 2000, Keppel Smit Towage Pte Ltd merged operationally with Maju Maritime Pte Ltd (Maju), the towage arm of Hitachi Zosen Limited. Both companies are now under a single management.

This merger has given us the advantage of access to a large fleet of versatile tugs ranging from 1,600 to 5,600 bhp. We also have the experience of two major towage operators in Singapore and the expertise to handle any towage operation.

Keppel Smit Towage Pte Ltd and Maju Maritime Pte Ltd endeavour to render harbour towage and port services in a responsible and profitable manner, whilst striving for a high level of quality, safety, customer satisfaction and maintaining competitiveness.
